Time to dig out your plume hats and join a Victorian story telling tour

I’ve just come across Love Art London, an independent art membership club, who do brilliant events around London. I absolutely love their vintage walking tour around the sculptures of Hyde Park. The tour will visit amazing hidden treasures by George Frampton, George Frederick Watts and Simon Gudgeon as well as checking out some show-stoppers like The Victoria and Albert Memorial and The Wellington Monument.

As you wander along, expert story-tellers will be bringing these incredible works to life, and to add to the fun, everyone’s encouraged to dress up in vintage. God, finally an excuse to go wild with a plume hat and dig out the parasol!

Studio 64 and robotic bras

I’m really not a big fan of burlesque, too much stripping and too little show if you ask me. There is one burlesque dancer though I love to watch – Agent Lynch – fellow Sixties lover and the best beehive in town.

Following the disco spirit of Studio 54, Agent Lynch has now put a new show together which runs at London’s Brickhouse throughout August. Expect a pole dancing granny, Paris dance sensation Brian Scott Bagley and Lynch’s new act, which features a fully functional robotic bra. For more info click here.
